I popped out when I could at work . 2 things stick in my mind , no one challenging for their 3rd goal , and song pass to their keeper.

The best chance we've had of a cup win in years and we've given it away.

The only positive was that we only just made it in time for the second half so missed the first 45.

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread 4-0 FT
i don't think I can even describe the disappointment I feel over this result
Not because we lost 4-0 but the abject manner in which we rolled over and surrendered
I'm not going to go over the players individual performances but I just couldn't believe what I saw to be a lack of desire, urgency and will to win.
Basically wba tore us a new arsehole and not one of those cunts on the pitch did a thing about it

Mallard - my sympathy is with you .

Stoneman - People die every day. Yeah, it's sad, but don't get all maudlin.

Just got home - What a Cunt of a day!!!

As far as I'm concerned the whole team played as if they'd just passed around a bong, filled with SuperSkunk, in the dressing room, minutes before kick-off.

Shit ground, shit home fans and shit transportation system!

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread 4-0 FT
Shit day for all the fans who travelled up and nothing can compensate you for the dross you had to sit through but let's remember that 4 people died today on the M1 and M40 and at the end of the day it's just a game of football and you are now home safely with your loved ones.

It just looked like we had 11 random blokes on the pitch who had never met before. We've all seen these types of fuck ups before but today was particularly bad.

Just got home. What a fuck up of a day.

Only got in once the second half had started. Two quick goals and a red card.

Another 3 hours trying to get out of Birmingham and home.

ARSE!!!!

Yes I can see that, but does the first yellow and the red both count - I suppose it's 2 seperate incidents?

Bang goes our fair play place again then, we weren't up there for long.

It must be the West Ham way.

A pathetic performance it could have been more.
West Brom played well against against a piss poor opposition.its impossible to start where it all went wrong.

A push in the face is deemed violent conduct, which is punishable with a straight red. It doesn't matter if he's already on a yellow.

Probably already engraved arsenal 2015 onto the cup.

Will be the quarters stage and if the scouse don't turn it around they must be fucking laughing.

Re: WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread 3-0
Games a little bit gay now when altercations like that result in a red card, but thats modern, money run footie for you.

to be fair to him, other than being a little mincy face push, that was about the most fight any of the players showed all game.
